Firefox, IE, and Safari may have to look out for Google. Google’s adding even more competition to the browser world with Google Chrome. Since the release of the Beta version Google Chrome has more users are turning to it.  But, why you may say, is it because of the simplicity of the browser. The clean and easy navigation of the browser, allowing users to search and browser site with in the same input field. Possibly it could be a better secure browser to protect your personal information.

So what about developers? Google Chrome and Safari are leading the way in supporting HTML 5, however, Firefox is also supporting HTML 5 as well. When tested for supporting HTML 5 Safari scored 208 out of 300, Chrome scored 197 out 300, and Firefox a 197 out of 300 (browser test was done at html5test.com). Although these browsers support HTML 5 they all don’t exactly support every HTML 5 tag.

All Browser  HTML 5 Score:

Safari: 208 out 300
Chrome: 197 out 300
Firefox : 197 out 300
Opera: 159 out of 300
Internet Explorer 8: 27 out 300

So what browser do you prefer?

I use ff for developing.
Chrome for personal and when I’m on my mac.

I just wish the chrome developer tools were as developed as firebug. Nothing can touch firebug, yet (I hope something in chrome will soon).

I kind of like Chrome, never a big fan of Safari despite my unhealthy obsession with Apple.
